The July 2013 Bar Exam: North Carolina’s Results by Law School

Last week, North Carolina published its statistics of the July 2013 bar exam.

There were 1255 applicants who took the bar exam of which 63.35% passed.
Applicants who took the bar exam for the first time passed at 71%
Applicants who took the bar exam as repeat takers passed at 23.3%.

By law school:

Campbell: First time: 81.8%; Repeaters: 0%; Total: 79.8%
Duke: First time: 96.2%; Repeaters: 66.7%; Total: 93.1%
NCCU: First time: 65.3%; Repeaters:13.8%; Total: 55.6%
UNC: First time: 81.3%; Repeaters: 28.6%; Total: 78.8%
WFU: First time: 79.5 %; Repeaters: 33.3%; Total: 77.9%
Elon: First time: 64.1%; Repeaters: 22.2%; Total: 57.3%
Charlotte: First time: 57.7%; Repeaters: 26.7%; Total: 53.2%
NC schools in total: First time: 71.6%; Repeaters: 22.6%; Total: 66.2%
Out of state law schools: First time: 69.6%; Repeaters: 23.9%; Total: 57.2%
