Bar Results for July 2012: Massachusetts Statistics by Law School

Massachusetts has now posted the names of the successful applicants of the July 2012 bar exam results. The statistics for the applicants are: for first time takers, the pass rate was 85.3%. The second time taker pass rate was 41.4%. The third time taker pass rate was 56.3%. The fourth time taker pass rate was 25% and the fifth time or more pass rate was 16.7%. The total pass rate was 81.1%

By law school:

Boston College: first time taker pass rate: 91.8% Total pass rate: 90.8%

Boston University: first time taker pass rate: 92.1% Total pass rate: 92.3%

Harvard: first time taker pass rate: 97.4% Total pass rate: 97.4%

Massachusetts: first time taker pass rate: 71.4% Total pass rate: 52.5%

New England: first time taker pass rate: 84.6% Total pass rate: 83.6%

Northeastern: first time taker pass rate: 85.8% Total pass rate: 85.8%

Suffolk: first time taker pass rate: 82.4% Total pass rate: 79.8%

Univ. of Mass at Dartmouth: first time taker pass rate: 70% Total pass rate: 64.3%

Western New England: first time taker pass rate: 81.3% Total pass rate: 76.7%

All other law Schools: first time taker pass rate: 85.3% Total pass rate: 80.6%
