The California Baby Bar Exam Results

For those first year students who are entering unaccredited law schools in California now, you must keep in mind that you need to pass the California First Year Law Students’ Exam – also known as the CFYLSE or the CFYLSX or the California Baby Bar.

The CFYLSE is a one day examination for first year students. The exam consists of four essay questions and 100 multiple choice questions.

The subjects covered in the California Baby Bar examination are Contracts (including Article 1 and 2), Criminal Law, and Torts.

The results for the June test came out on August 10th. The failure rate of the FYLSE is 80%. Students fail, not only because of the lack of substantive knowledge, but because their writing and analytical skills are weak.

The next testing date is October 2021. For those students who failed the exam, let Bar Professors help you pass.

Bar Professors offers a specialized tutorial for California Baby Bar takers designed to help you pass the California FYLSE. The general focus of concentration is on legal reasoning and rule application. Our advice is to start studying for the FLYSE, four months in advance of taking the test.
