The mean scaled score on the February administration of the MBE fell to 135, down 1.2 points from the previous year and the lowest average score on a February administration of the test since 1983. That is a 33 year low for the MBE. The July 2015 results were also down 1.6 points from the previous year, to 139.9, its lowest point since 1988.
The NCBE believes the downward trend is likely to continue for at least a couple more years.
Bar Professors can help you increase your MBE scores. We at Bar Professors provide a total curriculum solely for MBE repeat bar takers. This process is based on our new and innovative discipline for taking the MBE and UBE based on these important elements: (1) A thorough understanding of the black letter law; (2) Factual reading; (3) Legal reasoning; (4) Factual analysis; and (5) Understanding operative facts necessary to properly interpret and "turn" the MBE and fact pattern. Bar Professors fact based legal curriculum is designed to help all MBE repeat takers increase their scores.
