Pennsylvania has released its February 2022 bar exam results:  There was a 37% overall pass rate, a 56% pass rate for first time takers and a 27% pass rate for repeat takers. 

Now and effective July 2022, Pennsylvania will administer the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). Pennsylvania’s passing scores will be a high 272.

There will be a lot of repeat students taking the UBE in July 2022. We have been talking to many repeat takers who must take the UBE in Pennsylvania in July and must face a brand new exam. The Florida Bar Exam Results for February 2022 Have Been Released with a 44% Overall Pass Rate. The Florida Bar Exam Results By Law School

1,788 applicants took the Florida Bar. 1,348 took Part A and Part B (Overall Method) of the General Bar Examination, 209 took Part A (Florida portion) only, and 231 took Part B (MBE portion) only.

Of the 1,348 applicants who took both Part A and Part B of the General Bar Examination in February 2022, 599 (44%) passed. Of the 209 applicants who took Part A only, 151 (72%) passed. Of the 231 applicants who took Part B only, 81 (35%) passed.

University of Florida College of Law: 64.7%

Stetson University College of Law: 77.8%

Florida State University College of Law: 78.9%

Nova Southeastern University College of Law: 42.1%

St. Thomas University College of Law: 29.4%

Florida Coastal School of Law: 28.6%

Barry University School of Law: 56%

Florida A&M University College of Law: 56.8%

Florida International University College of Law: 70.8%

Ave Maria School of Law: 66.7%

Non-Florida law schools: 39.8%

Total: 61.6%

Florida Bar Exam Results Will Be Released on Monday, April 11th; Contact Bar Professors For Help

The Florida Bar Exam Results for February 2022 will come out on Monday, April 11th. There is no magical time it comes out, although the results usually come out in the early morning, after 8 am. We will post the law school pass rates on Monday.

Florida releases the numbers, not the names of the applicants and the site reveals just pass or fail of both Part A (the Florida section) and Part B (the MBE section) and the overall pass or fail. When you look up your number there will be 4 columns: your number, pass, pass, pass. The last pass is your ticket for your law license. You can fail a section of the Florida bar, and with enough carry over points, you can pass overall. So you will see some scores, like fail, pass, pass or pass, fail, pass. That’s ok, because that applicant has passed the Florida bar exam. Look at the final column and you’ll know whether you passed or failed.

Early Bar Exam Results for February 2022 Indicates Low Pass Rates of 60% or Less - Bar Professors Helps Repeat Takers

Approximately 10 states have released their bar exam results.  Early indications appear that the overall pass rate is 60% or lower.  

Oklahoma had an overall pass rate of only 47%, Kentucky had an overall pass rate of 45%, Indiana had an overall pass rate of 55%,  North Carolina had an overall pass rate of 50%, Arkansas’ overall pass rate was 60%, Illinois’ overall pass rate was 43%, West Virginia’s overall pass rate was 56% and Nebraska’s overall pass rate was 61%.  New Mexico’s pass rate was 70%.

Oklahoma, Indiana, New Mexico and Kentucky bar exam results for February 2022 have been released.  The results are shockingly low.  Oklahoma had an overall pass rate of only 47%, Kentucky had an overall pass rate of 45%, and Indiana had an overall pass rate of 55%.  Indiana’s first time pass rate was 71% and Indiana’s repeat takers pass rate was a low 37%. New Mexico had an overall pass rate of 70%, with the first time takers passing at 78% and the repeat taker pass rate was 63%. Repeat takers need our help!
