Texas has released its February bar exam
statistics and pass rate. This was the first time that Texas administered the
UBE and it showed in its statistics.
The overall pass rate in February was 61% with first time takers passing at 71% with the repeat taker pass rate at only 47%.
Texas Southern continues to underperform – its pass rate for first time takers was only 56% and its repeater pass rate was only 39%. The foreign educated results are even worse - a 34% pass rate for first time takes and only 19% for repeat takers.
