The New York bar exam results for July 2013 for public look-up will be released today at noon.
The passing rate for graduates of New York law schools who took the bar examination in July 2013 for the first time was 88%. The passing rate for graduates of out-of-state law schools who took the exam for the first time in July 2013 was 84%. The graduates of all law schools accredited by the American Bar Association who took the bar examination for the first time achieved a passing rate of 86%. The passing rate for all candidates, including U. S. domestic-educated candidates and foreign-educated candidates, first time and repeat takers, was 69%. The passing rate for all foreign-educated candidates was 37%. The first time passing rate for foreign educated candidates was 46%. All first time takers pass rate was 78%.
